Glitz and Glamour on the Med

The golden beaches along the Mediterranean coast are as well-known as the movie stars you’ve seen on them, but they’re not just for the rich and famous – there’s a beach to suit everybody. From small and pebbly to long and sandy, the Med’s got the lot, plus blue skies, sunshine and a sparkling turquoise sea. Throw in medieval towns to explore, amazing landscapes and some stylish cities and why would you go anywhere else?

On the Mediterranean coast, a ten-minute walk through our holiday park La Carabasse brings you to the beautiful sandy beach. The nearby seaside town of Vias Plage has everything from bars and restaurants to discos, shops and a fun fair. But you might not want to stray far from the campsite and its giant lagoon pool – one of the biggest in the regionMar Estang is another Languedoc park perfect for enjoying sea and sand, it is situated only 100m from the beach.

Discover Languedoc! La Carabasse and Les Sables du Midi are perfect for a lively beachside atmosphere; Le Lac des Rêves offers a unique lakeside getaway, and Mar Estang is located between a Mediterranean beach and a nature reserve.

The Côte d’Azur, in the south-eastern corner of France’s Provence region, is a dreamy seaside holiday destination which offers a unique combination of beach resort, stunning natural landscapes and chic urban hotspots.

Unspoilt Beaches on the Atlantic

France’s Atlantic coast, the westernmost point of Europe, is 1,000km long with gorgeous stretches of clean, soft sand surrounded by unspoilt, beautiful scenery – ideal for a family camping holiday. Some of the beaches are in the heart of seaside towns, while others are a bit wilder – perfect for the little pirates in the family to rockpool and swashbuckle on.

Stretching from Hendaye in the Basque country to Le Conquet in Brittany, the beaches form an almost unbroken line facing the Atlantic Ocean. Behind the beaches there are often large sand dunes and huge forests that are great for hiking and cycling.

You’ll also find big lakes with calm waters, where the children can paddle when the waves on the coast are too big! And from our Bonne Anse Plage campsite in Charente Maritime, you even have amazing views over the bay with its stunning sandy beaches.

The beautiful region of Brittany on France’s North West coast is an ideal choice for a seaside holiday! What’s more, it couldn’t be easier to travel to Brittany on the ferry from the UK, meaning you can bring your own car to France without having to worry about what you’re bringing with you.

With 140 km worth of sandy beaches, the largest departmental cycle network in France and amazing water sports opportunities, Vendée is the place to be for anyone who’s after an active outdoor getaway or who’s craving the feel of the sea breeze in their hair.

Charente-Maritime is a sunny seaside region of West Coast France where you’ll find three of our most popular Siblu holiday parks: Les Charmettes, Bonne Anse Plage and La Pignade.

With endless sandy beaches, Europe’s largest sand dune, world-renowned wines and 4 brilliant Siblu campsites, it's safe to say that Aquitaine makes an ideal holiday destination. From the chic city of Bordeaux to beautiful Bayonne in the Basque country, there is so much to explore!

Saint-Brévin-Les-Pins Beach at Les Pierres Couchées

At Les Pierres Couchées campsite on the southern Brittany coast, the huge Saint-Brévin-les-Pins beach is just 300 metres away from the park – that’s a five-minute walk, so sunbathing, sea swimming and beach sports are right on your doorstep. The campsite nestles in beautiful woodland and in between jaunts to the beach there are dozens of activities to choose from – why not try the tree-top adventure course for an adrenaline rush before strolling to the beach to relax?

Loire Atlantique

Looking for a beach holiday where you can more or less hear the waves lapping on the shore from your mobile home's terrace? Situated just a two-minute walk from the beach, Les Pierres Couchées holiday park on the Loire Atlantique coast (just south of Brittany) might be the place for you!

Private Beach at La Réserve

You can cycle or drive the 13 miles to the golden beaches of Aquitaine from our holiday park La Réserve, but you don’t have to because it has a private lakeside beach right there on the campsite. The sand slopes gently into the calm waters of the beautiful Biscarrosse lake, so there are shallows for the little ones to paddle in, while older children (and you!) can try out some of the many water sports on offer.

Nouvelle-Aquitaine

Siblu’s La Réserve holiday park is set in the heart of the Landes pine forest in South West France and boasts its own private beach on the sandy shores of the huge Lake Biscarrosse. This unique lakeside location makes it perfect for young children (who can paddle safely in the shallows) and water sports enthusiasts (who can enjoy activities like sailing on the lake’s calm waters).
